Want to know our new favorite dinner spot in Bangkok?
Mami Rose Restaurant in Bangkok!
Last year I had a mind-blowing experience at Pastel Rooftop Restaurant in Bangkok, and this year I was thrilled to be invited to their sister restaurant, Mami Rose. From the moment we arrived, I felt transported to another world of food delight and didn’t ever want to leave!
Location
Mami Rose is located inside EmSphere Mall, right in the heart of Bangkok’s trendy Phrom Phong area. You’ll find it on the 5th floor in the EmWonder zone.
Once you’re inside the mall, follow the signs to EmWonder. From there, take the escalator or elevator up to the 5th floor, and you’ll see Mami Rose tucked into its lively back corner.
EmSphere has lots of twists and turns, and Thai Hubby and I did get a little lost trying to find it. But once we arrived, it felt like finding the best prize of a treasure hunt!
Vibe
From the moment we entered, the playful Miami-inspired energy surrounded us. Intimate lighting, bold chevron patterns, fuchsia pink and gold details made it feel like we were at the hippest beach party in the middle of the city.
Thai Hubby and I were seated right next to the view, and at first we thought there were windows, but it was all open air. Palm trees and greenery framed the space, making us feel outside even though we were inside. I loved how the creative décor had us smiling before we even took our seats.
Food
Small Bites
You all know I’m obsessed with truffles, so I was delighted to order as many truffle items from the menu as I could! And after our experience, I’m now trying to figure out how to make truffle-inspired Thai dishes!? Any thoughts?
We started with the Black Truffle Toast, and wow. The crunch, the buttery melt-in-your-mouth bite, and that deep truffle flavor went straight to my soul.
Next came the Truffle Ravioli, another favorite of mine. The light foam topping gave it such a fun touch, and it’s something I’d never do at home. That’s why I love eating at restaurants like Mami Rose, it feels like eating a work of art.
The BBQ Chicken Bao was simple but irresistible, soft bao buns stuffed with savory, hoisin-style chicken that reminded us we were still in Asia, even with all the Miami vibes around us.
Mains
The Wild Sea Bass with Ponzu Sauce was my favorite of the night—crispy exterior, tender inside, with a punch of sour tang that made each bite sing with joy.
The Salmon Beurre Blanc felt so luxurious with its silky, buttery sauce that matched perfectly with the flaky salmon.
Thai Hubby fell in love with the Lobster Ravioli, which tasted like the ocean wrapped up in pasta—fresh, rich, and heart-warming.
But the dish that truly stole his heart was the Wagyu Ribeye with Truffle Gravy. Tender, melt-in-your-mouth steak with earthy truffle gravy—mind blown!
Dessert
And then came the finale: the Chocolate Lava Cake. I felt like I was biting into a giant Ferrero Rocher, warm and gooey inside, with rich chocolate hazelnut flavors spilling out like heaven on a plate.
I couldn’t stop saying, “Oh my goodness, this is soooo good!” as I licked every last particle off the spoon. It was the perfect ending to a perfect feast.
Final Thoughts
Mami Rose isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience! With its fun Miami vibe, creative dishes, and warm hospitality, it’s the perfect spot for a date night in Bangkok. If you loved Pastel, you’ll adore Mami Rose too, just like Thai Hubby and I did!
